Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón delivers a vivid, emotional portrait of a domestic worker's journey set against domestic and political turmoil in 1970s Mexico. This semi-autobiographical take on Cuarón's upbringing in Mexico City, follows the life of a live-in housekeeper to a middle-class family.
